“Soul Healing”

When we reach back far enough, we can stretch to touch the root of all things, finding its hidden meaning and emerging with the gift of understanding. The essence of psychotherapy can be found in the history of the word itself.

In traditional Greek and Latin, “psyche” meaning Soul and “therapy”, translated as Healing, have always been held throughout time as a sacred journey of Spirit. An invitation to meet yourself at the threshold of change and become willing to be transformed by your sadness and joy at a Soul level. There are many paths to choose from and there is no one way, but here I share how I work with clients, the tools I use, and how they may be helpful on your path of discovery.

  • In individual psychotherapy, we will explore the unconscious lands of your feelings and choices, examine the invisible patterns that have influenced your life, while using the creative tools of imagery, dreamwork, ritual, somatics, symbolism and storytelling to cultivate connection, self awareness and empowerment, choose your next steps with clarity and live your life with freedom.

  • Arts-based therapies give an expressive form to emotions and that are sometimes hidden from the conscious mind. Sound, Music, Movement, Dance, Image and Art create paths of reflection, healing and transformation beyond language.

  • The body is a source of wisdom and wild imagination. When we take the time to listen to our discomfort, pain, desires and pleasure, our bodily sensations can lead us to more fulfilling lives. Ignoring our bodily instincts leads us to disconnection and isolation from our closest ally.

  • Plant Medicine journeys can leave us with images, inspiration and revelations that can feel hard to incorporate into daily reality. Psychedelic integration offers support using creative tools that connect the Soul world to practical reality.

  • Healing does not happen in isolation…and groups provide a space to be witnessed in our transformation. I offer community healing arts circles that focus on sharing wisdom, cultivating skills for , and building circles of intimacy and trust within community. All groups have an art making component that may include working with clay, paint or collage, song and drum circles, dance and movement, altar building, planting a personal garden and cooking ancestral foods as a pathway towards healing and restoration.
